Batelco, Bahrain's leading digital services provider is very pleased to partner with BTECH (Bahrain Technology Companies Society) to participate as part of the Bahrain Pavilion at GITEX 2017. The leading regional event, with around 150,000 attendees and over four thousand exhibitors, will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 8 to 12 October. Batelco's participation follows on from its very successful participation at GITEX 2016 when the Company signed a number of key agreements with leading international organisations.
GITEX is an open platform for Bahraini ICT and technology companies to showcase their capabilities and futuristic potential to the global players who will be in attendance. Batelco's participation demonstrates the Company's commitment to the ICT industry and the tremendous efforts the company makes in developing relevant solutions which help to maintain Bahrain's leading position on the international market.
Batelco will demonstrate its expertise in a number of areas and showcase a number of products, services and key solutions at the Bahrain Pavilion including AWS, Security, Cloud Services, Data Centre and Global Solutions.
Batelco Chief Operations Officer Abderrahmane Mounir said that Batelco is optimistic about the opportunity for Batelco to be part of the Bahrain Pavilion at GITEX again this year and looks forward to building on its established role in the public and private ICT sectors, which helps to shape the industry and reflects positively on Bahrain's economy.
"Through our support for this key international event, Batelco reiterates the alignment of its goals to those of the Kingdom of Bahrain's and emphasises its support towards the ICT industry and to the digitisation drive in Bahrain," he added.
