Dubai Investments (DIC), a leading diversified investment company listed on the Dubai Financial Market, has announced its support to the Dubai Investment Week 2017 as a strategic partner.

The company aims to eye opportunities for growth, partnership, innovation and investments across diverse sectors and markets around the globe through its support to the event, which opened in Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai, today (October 15).

The Dubai Investment Week, organised by Dubai Investment Development Agency (Dubai FDI), an agency of Dubai Economy, is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, till October 19.

As part of its involvement, Dubai Investments aims to foster dialogues, exchange and share insights with the investor community in line with the Dubai Government's vision to transform the Emirate into an economic and business hub pursuant with the 2021 UAE National Agenda and Dubai 2021 plan.

"The Dubai Investment Week offers a unique platform to reinforce Dubai's reputation as the preferred destination for investments and partnerships across sectors, and facilitate opportunities to boost Foreign Direct Investment inflows into Dubai. As a strategic partner, Dubai Investments is aligned with the objectives of Dubai Investment Week, to identify and discuss strategic roadmap for investments in the infrastructure, services and knowledge sectors, among others," said Khalid Bin Kalban, managing director and CEO of Dubai Investments.

The DIW 2017 also offers the opportunity to learn about the advantages of Dubai as a preferred global destination for investment, mechanisms and opportunities for partnership between the public and private sectors, as well as the latest developments in investment opportunities in the strategic and emerging economic sectors in the region and the world, the company said.
