Property developer Emaar has entered an agreement with Dubai Municipality to manage the upcoming Dubai Frame when it opens next month.
The memorandum of understanding was agreed with Emaar following its experience managing the observation areas of the world's tallest building the Burj Khalifa.
The company will handle all technical and administrative aspects of the attraction under its At The Top unit.
The frame is expected to have a paperless ticketing system, with customers utilising their smartphone to gain entry after purchasing tickets electronically.
Upon entry, they will have access to a glass bridge at the top of the 150m structure, offering views of the city's old and new skylines.
Work on the project started in 2013 and is expected to be completed by the end of this month after a delay Dubai Municipality director chairman Hussain Nasser Lootah attributed to a decision to bring in higher quality materials including stainless steel gold cladding that is more fire resistant.
The official opening will then take place in November, Lootah confirmed to Gulf News last month.
Earlier this year, the architect who won the international competition to design the frame said he was suing Dubai Municipality because he never signed an agreement for the design to be used.
It was unclear if the dispute had been resolved.
