Ooredoo recently celebrated the achievement of being recertified to key international standards on quality, occupational health, safety and environment, and information security by Bureau Veritas Certification.
The renewed certificates were received by Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi, Ooredoo's chief operating officer, at a ceremony in Ooredoo's HQ1. The certificates were handed over by Selim Kseib, Country chief executive of Bureau Veritas Qatar.
Al-Kubaisi said: "This achievement is a testament to Ooredoo's commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable services to our customers. Ooredoo is fully-committed to providing a safe and working environment that meets the most stringent international benchmarks and we are proud to once again prove that our employees' safety is a top concern."
By achieving the recertification, Ooredoo has invested in further data security for Qatar, by focusing on meeting world-class information security standards and its compliance, to achieve the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
During the ceremony, Bureau Veritas Qatar praised Ooredoo for ensuring that the company's international management systems remain integral to the day-to-day functioning of Ooredoo and across all its business processes.
The renewal of this certification is part of Ooredoo's continuous efforts to demonstrate its capability in handling challenges related to project safety and environment, in particular for mega ICT projects with global visibility.
