The company was established in 1998 through the amalgamation of Bahrain Insurance Company and National Insurance Company, with a legacy in the insurance sector dating back to 1969. BNH has since developed a robust reputation for service quality and excellence, becoming a well-known entity within Bahrain. The group's operations are structured into four main entities: BNH, the parent company handling asset management and corporate functions; Bahrain National Insurance Company B.S.C., specializing in Commercial and Motor & Personal Lines Insurance; Bahrain National Life Assurance Company B.S.C., focusing on Life & Medical Insurance; and iAssist Middle East W.L.L., providing a range of smash repair services. Additionally, BNH has associations with several other companies, enhancing its market presence and service offerings.
