Activities

The International Holding Company (IHC), headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is one of the largest listed corporate investment holding firms globally. Established in 1998 as Asmak, initially focusing on the fisheries sector, IHC has since diversified its portfolio significantly. In 2023, IHC reported revenues of $16.4 billion and a net income of $7.5 billion. IHC is listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX) and had a market capitalization of $240 billion in 2024. Approximately 60% of IHC is owned by the Royal Group. IHC operates across various sectors, including agriculture and fisheries, finance, healthcare, real estate and construction, food and beverages, utilities, renewable energy. IHC recently completed a capital raise from AED 1.8 billion to AED 2.1 billion. The company has made significant investments, including a $2 billion agreement with the Indian Adani Group and acquiring shares in Turkish Kalyon Enerji. IHC continues to expand globally, including acquiring a majority stake in a copper mine in Zambia. IHC's strategic focus on acquisitions and diversification has positioned it as a key player in the global investment landscape.
