Omantel has announced the launch of Jawazak Hajj plan for customers travelling to Saudi Arabia to perform the Haj. This plan reflects Omantel's commitment towards offering value-added services that benefit customers.

"The plan which is valid for 10 days is priced at RO 12 and comes with a 2GB data bundle and 100 minutes of calls. These minutes include incoming calls, and outgoing calls within Saudi Arabia and to Oman. Customers can use free minutes in receiving calls from any country around the world while they are in Saudi Arabia," said Said Salim al Shanfari, General Manager, Consumer Marketing.

"At Omantel, our goal has always been to serve our loyal customers better with valuable offerings. All customers on the holy journey to perform Haj now have an affordable option to stay connected with their loved ones back home in Oman. With the Jawazak Hajj plan, we make sure our customers are always connected. This bundle is one of many options that are available for our customers. Jawazak Hajj bundle is available from August 17 until September 12, 2017, it can be used with all operators in Saudi Arabia," Al Shanfari added.

In coordination with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Omantel has distributed giveaways that include umbrellas, medical masks and fabric bags to hold essentials while performing Haj.

All prepaid and postpaid customers can subscribe to this bundle by sending SMS 'J' to 91199 and follow the instructions.
