Jadwa REIT Al Haramain Fund is a Sharia-compliant real-estate investment traded fund. The company was incorporated on 21stAugust 2006, with a paid-up capital of SAR 500 million, when the Saudi Arabian Capital Markets Authority (CMA) granted Jadwa all 5 licenses to operate as a full service Sharia-compliant investment bank in the kingdom. The firm began its operations on 19thFebruary 2007. Based in Riyadh, it operates on the rules of the Real Estate Investment Funds Regulations and the REIT Instructions issued by the CMA. The company provides its individual and institutional clients with Asset Management, Investment Banking, Securities Brokerage and Research. The Fund is managed by Jadwa Investment Company, which is a full service Riyadh-based, Sharia-compliant investment bank, that offers corporate finance, asset management, advisory, brokerage and custody services to high net worth individuals, family offices and institutions. The investment team of the company comprises experienced professionals from the asset management and investment banking industry.All the financial services and investments offered by Jadwa follow the Sharia compliance standards and are therefore supervised by a Sharia Supervisory Board. The basic investment objective of Jadwa is to offer its investors a regular income by investing in income-generating real estate assets in the country, with a focus on the Holy Cities of Medina and Makkah. In addition, the company aims to provide extensive training and development programs for young graduates, by helping them in building a strong base of local expertise in the complex world of investments.
